Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have broken up, according to several media. On August 5, a source told E! News that the “Saturday Night Live” alum and Kardashian, 41, have decided to end their relationship. People then reported the same thing.
A source told E! The news that Kardashian and Davidson have “love and respect for each other” but traveling long distances in “demanding schedules” has made it difficult to maintain a relationship. Both outlets reported that the breakup happened this week.
The source also told E! News that Kardashian is still moving forward with her divorce from Kanye West. “Divorce is moving forward with Kanye,” the source said. “They are happy to co-parent.”
Davidson, 28, and Kardashian first met at the Met Gala in September 2021, a month before her “Saturday Night Live” hosting concert in October. During a skit, the pair shared a kiss – foreshadowing what was to come. “The vibe” was there, Kardashian revealed during an episode of her family’s Hulu series: “A few days later, I called the ‘SNL’ producer and was like, ‘Hey, you do you have Pete’s number? And they were like, ‘Yeah!'” The SKIMS mogul admitted that at the time, she was just looking for a connection – but things with Davidson moved on.
Of course, this wasn’t the first romance for either of them. Kardashian married rapper West in 2014 and the couple share four children (North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3). She filed for divorce from West in February 2021.
And Davidson was previously engaged to pop star Ariana Grande from June 2018 until October. Before Kardashian, his most recent public romance was with “Bridgerton” star Phoebe Dynevor, but he’s also been linked to Margaret Qualley and Kate Beckinsale.
